![]() You only need your MSU login and password to access it. What is your AFS space? This is your personal MSU online server space, and every student has one. It must be uploaded to a separate server space first (like to a domain, but we’re using the university AFS space for this project). You cannot upload a Soundslides project directly to our class site. You must upload the entire publish_to_web folder to your AFS space for Soundslides to work on the internet. POST TO AFS SERVER: Now, upload your slide show to your MSU AFS server space. Open this folder and inside it you will see another folder called “ publish_to_web.” This is all you’ll need to put your project online. In Soundslides, go to File/Export and a folder will be created inside the folder that stores your Ssoundslides project folder with all of the files Soundslides needs. But first, you have to export your Soundslides project. ![]() You will use the university server for this, called AFS. It exports multiple files to your computer that have to be uploaded to a server on the internet. Soudslides does not export a movie file that you can just upload to a place like YouTube.
